This CLE will address four current and controversial issues that impact the immigrant community: the “Green Light,” law that allows all New York residents to obtain drivers’ licenses; navigating the rapidly changing asylum process, the impacts of Family Court proceedings on immigrants, and the newly expanded Public Charge rule. In addition to discussing these topics in general, this CLE will specifically address the COVID-19 pandemic’s ramifications on best practices.
