CLE Webinar – Tax Certiorari Refresher: Grievances, Petitions and Discovery

This webinar will act as a refresher on the filing of Article 5 Grievance Complaints and Article 7 Tax Certiorari proceedings, including a review of the timelines that must be met. After reviewing the filing procedure, we will then discuss discovery in Tax Certiorari proceedings, which falls outside the CPLR provisions for disclosure in the State of New York. This discussion will include a review of Income and Expense audit procedure, motions to compel discovery, and Freedom of Information Law Requests.
